Hello, I'm Lynnie Marie. Not too long ago, I reignited my daily art practice by sending myself to my own pastel camp in my kitchen during COVID-19. Yep, I dusted off my art supplies and gave myself permission to get messy with no expectations or self-judgement. I rediscovered the wonderfully magical and secret space that creativity provides, and I was hooked. More importantly, I knew that I wanted to share this with others, so I started the Be Creative Membership.

During this time, I was reading Anne Morrow Lindberg's beautiful book, Gifts by the Sea. One passage jumped from the pages and pierced my heart: "Quiet time alone, contemplation, prayer, music, a centering line of thought or reading, of study or work. It can be physical or intellectual or artistic, any creative life proceeding from oneself. It need not be an enormous project or a great work. But it should be something of one's own."

We can be creative again, or for the very first time, by making something that is all our own. And possibly, sharing it with the world.
